Let me tell you, I have had several thermometers. I have tried every type that are available today from the forehead stickers to the devices that allow you to point a device to foreheads to obtain body temperature readings. I can honestly say that this one takes the cake. I am pleasantly surprised by how nice this thermometer is. It is lightweight, yet it is sturdy and made from high quality materials. It fits comfortably in your hand, as well. I was shocked when I saw how quick it took to obtain a reading. Even those high dollar industrial type ear thermometers used in hospitals and doctor's offices take longer to obtain body temperature than this one. I mean, we are talking a second or two, tops. It's so easy to use. I really didn't have to read any directions. You turn it one with one button, put a protection cap on, place the thermometer in the ear, and press the other button and almost instantly you have an accurate body temperature reading. I tested this thermometer several times, not only on myself, but on my toddler, as well. It is accurate every single time. I can't tell you how thankful I am to own this thermometer. Since it is made from high quality materials and comes with a protective case, I'm sure it will last for a long time. If I ever needed to purchase another thermometer for household, or as a baby shower gift for someone else, I would choose this exact one, everytime. I highly recommend it. Excellent design and very accurate, is good to be ready for any fever symptom in my house! The fever symbol is handy for quickly telling if the temperature reads above or below what it should be. Plenty of caps for switching with different people. I also use the thermometer to test the room temperature in my house!
